Our Legacy blueberry cultivar produces such mouth-watering berries that it has even been rated the most flavorful blueberry on the market by the USDA - a high honor among the over 50 varieties available.

From the delicate white flowers that bud in the spring to the beautiful blue berries in the summer and long-lasting brilliant crimson leaves in the fall, you’re sure to enjoy the beauty of these plants year round. Legacy blueberry bushes are one of the few varieties that keep their leaves through the winter, blessing you with extended viewing pleasure.

While many are aware of the health-boosting benefits of blueberries coming from their high antioxidant content, vitamins, and minerals, you may not realize just how easy they are to grow - especially the Legacy blueberry bush!

Legacy blueberry bushes are known for their amazing ease of care and ability to thrive across much of the United States, being pest and disease resistant and hardy in less than ideal water and soil conditions. This plant grows well in zones 5-8 and will give you 50+ years of abundant fruit with proper care.

𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩:

With your Legacy blueberry, you get firm fruit with superior taste and sweetness without the high acidity of other fruits. Its fruit ripens in late July to mid-August and lasts for 4-5 weeks.

While self-fertile, your plant will give you even more blueberries when planted alongside other blueberry bushes for maximum pollination, either another Legacy bush or other blueberry variety that blossoms around the same time.

Many plants will fruit their first year, but we recommend removing the flowers that first year to establish stronger roots.

Ensure your blueberry bush receives plenty of sunlight, plant it in acidic soil with good drainage, and water regularly, if needed, to maintain consistent moisture. Mulch around the base with acidic materials like pine needles or pine bark.
